2020 – Little Vitamin
Almost all modern entertainment is taken through sight and sound; total immersion into countless other worlds such as music, film and games. As a result the audio visual equipment which you invest in are the gateway to that sensation of freedom; often an integral “way-of-life” for many. Addicted to Audio is built around that drive for high quality experiences and the feelings which they evoke. If you know what you need, they have it. And where you might feel overwhelmed, they are here to help you gain a greater understanding. I was the designer at Little Vitamin working on the new website’s UI, based on the new brand that was created by Vitamin London.
⏤ 00 THE BRIEF
Addicted to Audio’s approached Vitamin to rebuild their website, but also to help them rebrand as their logo and image did not represent anymore their modern and technologic image. The old logo included some characters that the owners did not want removed. The Vitamin team took and evolve them with a modern and bold look to create the brand that it is today. From that, we’ve taken the different elements to add interactions to the page and design an easy-to-navigate website. We’ve designed the homepage, 2 collections pages, the product page, the stores’ pages and the about.
⏤ 01 THE LANDING PAGE
We first decided to include the sound wave in the opened megamenu. Then, we’ve added big bold words behind different sections, as the typographic executions puts focus on
a key word; filling the space in the same captivating and bold way as a high quality audio visual product. Finally, we’ve added a special surprise effect on buttons’ hovers, revealing popping characters on a pulsing button. Having hundreds of products and brand, it was important for the website to be particularly simple to use, therefore we kept the UX & UI very clear despite these added elements.
