Lavely wants to develop a service that helps parents organize their kids birthday party: they want to simplify the process by reuniting all of the planning steps into one platform. However, they wanted to start with an MVP, that roughly consisted in a RSVP service ⎯letting parents send invites, thank you cards and manage their RSVPs through their website.
⏤ 01 THE PROBLEM
Unclear USP
At first, we really struggled to grasp Lavely’s USP and what would really motivate the target audience to use the service. It seemed really limited to us, therefore not adding enough value.
⏤ 02 THE CHALLENGE
Symplifying the concept
Understanding the product was a big phase for us. From there, the challenge was to overcome our doubts, and to think of a way to make the USP and the product as easy as possible. For me, thinking of a way to structure everything to achieve this goal, making it visually clear and appealing was the main focus.
⏤ 03 THE OUTCOME
A clear interface
With the use of cards, icons, and light colors, the simplicity of the platform is perceivable from the start. Everything highlights Lavely’s values and the mood is set to match the targets. The side bar lets the user know at which stage they’re at, at all time.
