OVERVIEW
Seekology is an online beauty and wellbeing marketplace that carefully curates unique brands and products, with the aim of rejuvenating the high street. Every month Seekology collaborates with new brands, focused on inspiration, education and discovery. By shopping at Seekology, you vote with your wallet: you choose to support creativity, independent business and entrepreneurship. I was the designer at Little Vitamin that worked on their eCommerce store to match their stylish boutique in London,
⏤ 00 THE BRIEF
The agency was to set up the marketplace side of the eshop with the Webkul integration, and to design the homepage for the Shopify store. This page would be designed completely custom to further increase user engagement and improve the experience, as the rest of the pages would receive the branding and overall design, but based on the chosen Shopify theme. We have built custom elements on top of that landing page, to make it really engaging and representative of the values that the brand stands for.
⏤ 02 THE LANDING PAGE
The client had a beautiful brand made of soft, rounded shapes of different colours. We wanted to represent this flowing, natural and organic vibe through the homepage with special parallax effects. We first included them in the header and footer, and then on the title of different sections. We’ve played with coloured backgrounds as well, that move up and down as the user scrolls down the page, and built custom call to actions to add another layer of interactions based on the brand’s idendity.
